THE SEARCH BEGINS FOR
THE NEXT AFRICAN QUEEN

Nigeria,
Africa – The African Queen Pageant, formerly known as the African Village Queen
Pageant is in its third season. So far, the organizers have begun the search
for its 2013 Beauty Queen; sales of forms are underway and audition dates have
been fixed.
Former
seasons have witnessed the emergence of two reputable young women yet, in the
persons of Miss Joyce Ekanem and Miss Etini Anthony in 2011 and 2012
respectively.
The
pageant which is held annually in November and endorsed by the Federal Ministry
of Culture and Tourism is meant to discover one young woman who represents
Africa totally, as her emergence automatically crowns her as an Ambassador for
culture and Tourism in Africa.
Before
beginning its auditions all over Africa, The African Queen Pageant has already
begun its Sales of forms (all information on the African Queen Pageant is

The
2013 winner of African Queen Pageant is entitled to: A brand new car, 14 days
trip to South Africa, two endorsement deals and a one-year contract, while the
1st runner up goes with Two Hundred Thousand Naira Cash prize, a deep freezer
and a six-month contract; and the 2nd runner up earns a forty-two-inch flat
screen LCD TV, weekend holiday at the Le Meridien Ibom Hotel and Golf resort
and a three month contract.
With
the mission of “Celebrating the Renaissance of our Natural Native Beauty”, the
African Queen Pageant is a brain-child of De Havilah Development, a culture and
tourism house in Nigeria.
This
year’s pageant promises to be more thrilling, sensational and intriguing.
