The source revealed to me exclusively that Wizkid and EME bosses have been going back and forth for the last couple of weeks through their lawyers trying to agree on new terms of them working together again.

"Wizkid leaving EME was just his way of pushing the bosses at the label to take him seriously and increase his earning percentage. When he joined EME he wasn't a star but then he became a mega star and was making a lot of money for the label and they still didn't increase his earning percentage so he took a walk. Now they are working on a new contract that will favour Wizkid." The source said

Crisis In Davido’s HKN Gang: B Red, Sinarambo Might Leave Soon

Family isn’t everything after all…

Nigerian Entertainment Today has gathered, from multiple sources, that there is major crisis in the HKN Gang; the popular record label that attained overwhelming fame and success in 2012 may have been bitten by the recent ‘break up’ bug and might lose two of it’s popular acts B Red and Sinarambo.

After working together as a music crew for close to a decade, there are very strong indications that popstar 

Davido ‘Davido‘ Adeleke is parting ways with his pop singing cousins (his father’s elder brother’s sons) and label mates, Bayo ‘B Red‘ Adeleke and Sina ‘Sinarambo‘ Adeleke.

NET sources say tension has been building among the cousins for a while ‘but B Red and Sina have been playing it cool’. Apparently, the lesser known cousins now want out.

Sources tell us a big fight  allegedly ensued between Davido and cousins B Red and Sinarambo some weeks back in Atlanta – The cousins had accused Davido of not doing much for their careers as much as he should after they chose him as the label’s front line act. They also accused him of not giving them a chance to fully promote their new singles only to overshadow them at any given chance.

Flashback

Some years ago before Davido, B Red and Sinarambo relocated to Nigeria to fully pursue their music careers, the trio had been working in Altanta, US as a music crew called B International. Sinarambo was the frontline artiste with Davido only handling music production. B Red, a very talented drummer assisted with verses.

Then Davido began pursing a singing career seriously, broke out as a solo artiste and decided to return to Nigeria in 2010 to fully launch a music career. Starting off HKN Gang with his elder half-brother Adewale Adeleke aka Chairman HKN, they added (as only expected) B Red and Sinarambo to the team and approached M.I‘s manager Abuchi Ugwu to manage him.

Abuchi however turned down the offer (he is credited to mixing and mastering Davido’s monster hit song ‘Dami duro‘), Davido met up with a very enthusiastic Asa Asika (Asa in December 2012 parted ways with HKN) and well, the rest is history. The team planned to push Davido first, then Sinarambo and finally B Red.

Back To The Present

As we all know Davido’s music career skyrocketed with hit songs and a debut album ‘Omo Baba Olowo‘. He was immediately placed as an A-list artiste in Nigeria, topping charts, performing in different continents, winning awards, and bagging multi-million Naira endorsement deals.

‘Now that Davido has blown, it was Sinarambo and B red’s turn, but things didn’t seem to follow again‘, a source tells NET. ‘Every time Sina or B Red released a song or video, Davido would release his own music and somehow it overshadowed theirs’.

October 15, 2012 - Sinarambo releases his much anticipated first single-video ‘Ijo sina‘ feat Davido.

October 17, 2012 - Davido releases ‘Gbon gbon‘ off his ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ album.

February 8, 2013 - B Red releases first single ’Insane girl’ feat Davido.

February 25, 2013 - Davido releases controversial single ‘Gobe’.

Sources say the fight in Atlanta got physical after B Red and Sinarambo aggressively questioned Davido over the matter. ‘The fight damaged property in their ATL home, it started in the car and continued in the house‘.

Davido then traveled to Houston during the All star weekend to perform alongside Nas. He later traveled back to Nigeria and headed straight to Ghana for a performance.

Sources say, Sina and B Red were stuck in Atlanta (B Red has since returned while Sina is still in Atlanta). Davido’s father, we learn is now aware of the fight and has extricated the cousins. B Red we are told has also moved out of Davido’s house.

The ‘Insane girl’ singer who is Davido’s official hype man was missing at Davido’s side at two recent campus performances in the University of Lagos (UNILAG) and Ibadan (UI). He also didn’t attend Davido’s mum’s remembrance ceremony.

But Davido’s new manager Kamal (one of the guys who Dr SID says was present when he had that leaked conversation with Davido) says we shouldn’t fret. ‘There’s no problem in HKN, Sina is working with some people in ATL at the moment and B Red is cool with Davido’, Kamal told our reporter in a telephone conversation.

In related news, it is being reported that Davido has signed a upcoming pop singers Ghanaian act Deekay and Nigerian act Danagog. This could not be confirmed as Kamal could not be reached via telephone.

Shocking Report : American Rapper Tried To Kill Best Friend as Illuminati Sacrifice

A Henrico County judge Thursday scheduled a two-day trial in June for an aspiring rap star who, according to a prosecutor, apparently believed that he had to sacrifice his friend to reach stardom.

Henrico Circuit Judge L.A. Harris Jr. denied bond Thursday for Wafeeq Sabir El-Amin, 27, after Deputy Commonwealth's Attorney Thomas L. Johnson described El-Amin as a danger to the public and a man who was so overcome with marijuana when questioned by detectives that he could not remember the events of the month in which he committed the alleged crime.

"You are my sacrifice," Johnson quoted El-Amin as saying before he allegedly fired a shot toward his friend's head inside a Henrico home that was to become a music studio.

El-Amin is listed in state records as the registered agent of Break Bread Inc., located in the 1000 block of Athens Avenue just north of Brook and Parham roads.

According to a search warrant, the shooting at the now-abandoned dwelling the night of Dec. 26 occurred after prolonged marijuana use. The victim awoke from a drowsy sleep to see El-Amin pointing a gun at his head and saying he needed to be sacrificed, according to the search warrant.

The bullet ricocheted off the victim's hand sending bone and skin fragments into his eye, according to the warrant, but the victim was able to get hold of the gun and shoot El-Amin in the stomach before he ran off.

The victim has not been charged.

Johnson said in court Thursday that the trial will delve into the hip-hop music culture and the notion that a secret society called the Illuminati has control over the success of some performers.

It was the belief that a sacrifice had to occur in order to join the Illuminati that allegedly incited El-Amin, Johnson said. Investigators recovered more than a pound of marijuana from the Athens Avenue home, according to the search warrant, as well as literature dealing with the Illuminati and its alleged connection to the music industry.

Harris, in denying bond for El-Amin, who waved happily to family members in the courtroom Thursday, said he was concerned about Johnson's representations that El-Amin claimed no knowledge of what occurred in December because of the amount of marijuana he had smoked.

Johnson said in court that a book about the role of the Illuminati in hip-hop music and especially in the career of rap star 50 Cent was an obsession for El-Amin.

El-Amin, who has a South Richmond address and no prior criminal record, is charged with malicious wounding, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, possession of marijuana and possession with intent to distribute marijuana. He was indicted by a grand jury earlier this year.

Harris set the trial for June 26 and 27.

Man, 36, jailed for touching a lady’s breast

36-year-old man gets 12 strokes of cane, jailed two months for touching a lady’s breast

36-year-old man, Abdulkareem Abdulsalam, was on Wednesday sentenced to two months in prison for indecent assault by a Senior Magistrate Court in Karu, FCT.

Police Prosecutor Stephen Eimoga told the court that on March 19 at about 9 a.m, one Juliet Sunday 18 of Karu Village reported the matter at Karu Police Station.

“On March. 18 at about 6 p.m., Sunday was coming out from the bathroom and Abdulsalam also of Karu Village, assaulted her by holding her breast without her consent,’’ Eimoga said.

He said that the offence contravened the provisions of section 285 of the Penal Code.

The accused pleaded guilty to the charge.

Citing section 157 (1) of the Criminal Procedure Code, Eimoga applied for summary trial of the accused.

Asked if he had any cause to show why the court should not convict him, the accused pleaded for leniency.

“I pray the court to pardon me for what I have done. I am a married man and my parents are late. I am begging for your pardon sir,” Abdulsalam pleaded.

In his judgement, the Magistrate, Mr Aminu Abdullahi, said the accused could not convince the court on why he should not be punished.

“Relying on section 285 of the Criminal Procedure Code, I find you guilty as charged by the police,’’ Abdullahi said.

He sentenced the convoct to two months in prison with an option of paying N2,000 fine.

The judge said that in addition to the sentence, 12 strokes of the cane should be administered on Abdulsalam and warned him never to engage in such act again. (NAN)

Lauren Yardley of Coventry, UK, only wanted to look curvy. But she got a lot more than she bargained for, no thanks to a horrific breast implant gone wrong.

Yardley, 25, underwent surgery to boost her bust from a modest A cup to a voluptuous DD.

The trouble began two months after surgery, when her right breast swelled larger than her left and began to feel hard and painful.

She was told by doctors her body had rejected the implant -- a not-uncommon side effect she had been warned about.

Yardley underwent surgery again to fix the implant, but the problem worsened -- to the point where her implant fell out of her body through the stitches in her breast.

Some capsular contracture, in which scar tissue shrinks around the implant, is common after breast enhancement surgery, but not to the extent Yardley experienced.

"I couldn’t believe it," Yardley told The Sun. "The doctors at the hospital said they had never seen anything like it — they couldn’t believe I was not in septic shock.

"When I booked the operation they told me it was common for the body to reject implants — but I had no idea this could happen."

Doctors could not reoperate immediately after the second surgery, leaving Yardley to spend a half-year with one small and one large breast.

"I feel very lucky — it could have been a lot worse. The most horrific thing was having only one breast for seven months. It was horrible," she said.

"I felt really confident after having my implants, but I lost it all again when I was left with an uneven chest."

Yardley got her surgery because she felt she was was "always flat chested — I looked like a boy. I wanted to look more like a girl."

Her sister also had implants done the same day at the same clinic, but with no complications.

Despite being a poster child for plastic surgery gone awry, Yardley says she'd do it again.

"People always ask me if I would have implants again after all I have been through, but I always say yes," she told The Sun. "I don’t regret it at all."

"My sister in-law came to pray with me last two years. She said she was experiencing ill luck during the week. So many nasty things happening to her.

"I prayed with her and the Spirit led me to ask her what hair she had on, she said Indian. I was led to tell her to remove it and not give out but pray and burn it. She obeyed and things went back to normal. Sometime after that, my hubby and I watched a documentary on how ladies in India sacrifice their hair to the gods if they have nothing else worthy to sacrifice.

 My husband likes human hair. So even though I like my full dreadlocks kind of hairstyles, I give him what he likes most times. I have done Brazilian and Peruvian hair so thought to try something different and more natural which is Indian hair.

The lady in charge there looked at me and showed me a picture of myself with my regular synthetic dread-like hair and said “but that is ur regular look, why are you carrying someone else's face. Then from nowhere another lovely lady came from outside, drew me to the corner and began to ask me about my look. She said “you are having problems with your hair right?” Whilst she was talking, I noticed something in her mouth; a bowl of cowries and the face of a Benin god. I looked closer and asked her what it was and why she had it.

She said her man likes her because of that decor in her mouth—cowries and the face of a god like a shrine in one’s mouth?

She also said that she is comfortable and that it’s beautiful.

I woke up and prayed and immediately understood what the message was but didn’t want to let go of my cute human hair that cost so much.

I decided to ask my husband because he interprets dreams accurately.

He immediately told me to remove the hair. At the same time, the Spirit told me to cut it off and not remove it gracefully because it tried to bring me shame and pain.

I have decided to only carry my natural hair or synthetic hair.

"I went through a lot of bullying early on. Girls made my life a living hell. We had come to America from a different country. My brother and I had accents. It was very tough. So I've always put up this wall – it was a self-defense mechanism growing up – because I was almost expecting people to attack me. And I still have it. It's sad," she says.

Now, with two hit records behind her and a new gig judging on Idol, she's ready to take on the world.

"My goal in the beginning was to buy my mother a house. Now I realize, Okay, if I really focus and become a key player in business, then I can build an empire," she says. "I'm thinking of a legacy that I can be proud of and wealth that my grandchildren can use to go to college. So world domination- in terms of providing for my family – is absolutely my goal."

Every woman needs vagina reconstruction - Modupe Ozolua

The pioneer of cosmetic surgery in Nigeria and CEO of Body Enhancement Limited, Modupe Ozolua said every woman at some point would need vagina reconstruction. She told Chuks Eze of The Sun:

    

"As long as women have vaginal birth, as long as they have intercourse, and as long as they age, at some point in time, they would need reconstruction. I'm not encouraging every woman to do it, just those who feel they need it or if their gynecologist advises them to do it. But women need to know that vagina reconstruction is different from vagina tightening. If you want to feel like a virgin again, I would ask you to see a gynecologist who will repair the appropriate muscles. Vagina reconstruction is different from going in and repairing whatever to restore virginity.

Contrary to reports making the rounds that Lagos State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Mr. Obafaiye Shem, has been dismissed following his 'Oga At The Top' debacle during a live interview on Channels TV almost two weeks ago, he says and Channels TV says the report is false. 

Shem said he was not suspended or dismissed but has been on casual leave to bury his father and will resume work next Thursday.

"I am still the State Commandant of NSCSC and I am determined to work hard to expose the vandals across the State.”

His wife also never went to Channels TV office to protest.

Madonna and Anderson Cooper embraced in a a big smooch as she presented the CNN newsman and talk show host with an honor at the New York edition of the GLAAD Media Awards at the Marriott Marquis. Cooper was the recipient of this year's Vito Russo Award, which goes to an openly gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender media professional who has made a significant difference in promoting equality.

Cooper spoke publicly about his sexuality for the first time last year with an email to journalist Andrew Sullivan. "The fact is, I'm gay, always have been, always will be, and I couldn't be any more happy, comfortable with myself, and proud," he wrote.

The Material Girl, who memorably kissed Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera during a performance at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards, also left people buzzing about her outfit. She was decked out in a full Boy Scout's uniform — her version of it anyway, featuring special touches like fingerless gloves and a cowboy hat — to protest the organization's ban on gay scouts and scout leaders.

"I wanted to be a Boy Scout, but they wouldn't let me join," she told the crowd. "I think that's [messed] up. I can build a fire. I know how to pitch a tent. I have a very good sense of direction. I can rescue kittens from trees. Listen, I wanna do for the community."

During his acceptance speech, Cooper thanked his boyfriend since 2009, Benjamin Maisani.

"[Being gay] has allowed me to love and be loved, to open my head and open my heart in ways I would have never predicted," he noted. "The ability to love one another, the ability to love another person is in my opinion one of God's greatest gifts and I thank God every day for the ability to give and share love with the people in my life. My family, my friends, my partner Benjamin, thank you very much."
